Paroma Chatterjee is a PhD candidate in the Molecular and Cellular Biology Graduate Program at Oregon State University. Her current research focus on using the larval zebrafish as an in vivo model system to study otoferlin, a protein expressed in the sensory hair cells and essential for hearing. Paroma is a joint member in Colin Johnson (Dept of Biochemistry and Biophysics) and Robert Tanguay’s lab. She received her M.Sc. from University College of Science and Technology, Calcutta, India.
